“Living with Grief after Sudden Loss” Family Day
We plan to host a Family Day for all parents, siblings and extended family members whose child has died over the past couple of years. This will take place on:
- Date: Saturday, 1 July 2017
- Time: 10.00am – 16.30pm
- Location: The Killeshin Hotel & Leisure Club, Dublin Road, Portlaoise, Laois
- Contribution: €25 per family towards the cost of the day
Please find below the time plan for the day. The Programme will focus on the aftermath of the sudden death of a child, the impact on parents, siblings and the extended family. Three bereaved families whose children died a number of years ago will disclose their own stories and share some thoughts and ideas about practical ways of keeping the bond with their precious child.
A special programme for siblings aged 4 – 12 years will take place simultaneously in a room close to the main meeting room. If you would like further details with regard this programme, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you are interested in attending, please contact Margaret Carty via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Monday 12th June 2017.
If you have any queries, or would like further information with regard either programme, please do not hesitate to contact Ger O’Brien on 01 873 2711 or email@example.com.
We look forward to welcoming you to the day.
