FirstLight Nominated as Charity Partner for New Online Store

FirstLight is honoured to have been nominated as one of the charity partners for Wrapped in Kindness a new online store offering a thoughtfully curated collection of contemporary Irish Design gifts such as jewellery, prints, ceramics, textiles and homewares.

Wrapped in Kindness is a new online store offering a thoughtfully curated collection of contemporary Irish Design gifts such as jewellery, prints, ceramics, textiles and homewares. It was founded by Julie Gaffney, a Mum of 3 and former finance manager, in Passage East, County Waterford. As the name suggests, there is a unique charity concept to this store - 10% of the total value of each order will go to an Irish charity of the customer’s choice – selected from their list of charity partners.

Wrapped in Kindness are working with a broad range of charity partners so that customers can select the charity that means the most to them or a loved one. The list of charity partners includes Pieta House, Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland, Focus Ireland, Lauralynn Children’s Hospice, Barretstown, Alone, Solas Cancer Support Centre, Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services, FirstLight, Madra Dog Rescue and Brain Tumour Ireland.

The donation is fully funded by Wrapped in Kindness, with the help of some of their amazing Irish design partners.  Wrapped in Kindness is a place where customers can support both Irish businesses and Irish charities in one go.
